Wieś łańcuchówa o długości 1,5 km , leżąca nad rzeką Barycz w Obniżeniu Grabownickim , ok . 155 m n.p.m. Pierwsza wzmianka o tej miejscowości pochodzi z 1557 r . W owych czasach w okolicz nych , rozległych lasach znajdowało się dużo pasiek . Wieś leży na pograniczu województw dolnośląskiego i wielkopolskiego. Do Wróblińca należy także osada Płonka i leśniczówka Górale. W środkowej części Wróblińca zachowały się pozostałości starego cmenta rza ewangelickiego z 1. połowy XIX w . Stojący we wsi kościół Wniebowstąpienia Pańskiego pochodzi z 1912 r. Niemiecka nazwa miejscowości brzmiała Wildbahn. Tuż za Wróblińcem na łąkach po lewej stronie drogi znajduje się Jaz Wróbliniec piętrzący wodę na rzece Barycz (Mamy informację ze starego znak, z barycz.pl).

We are interested in learning about local history and exploring our surroundings. Here's a first post, which is about the village we live in. Hope you enjoy it!
Wróbliniec is a so-called chain village, measuring 1,5 kilometre in length, situated 155 metres above sea level. The first mention of this village dates back to 1557 . In those days, there were many apiaries in the surrounding vast forests. The village lies on the border of the Lower Silesian and Greater Poland Voivodeships. The settlement of Płonka and the Górale forester's lodge also belong to Wróbliniec. In the central part of Wróbliniec, there are remains of an old Evangelical cemetery from the first half of the 19th century. The Church of the Ascension of Our Lord standing in the village dates from 1912 . The German name of the village was Wildbahn. Just behind Wróbliniec, on the left side of the road, there is the Jaz Wróbliniec damming water on the Barycz River (Information from an old sign we have, from barycz.pl).

(rysunek wg starej pocztówki). Stara szkoła znajdowała się na naszej działce, w pobliżu starej studni. W budynku szkoły mieściło się również mieszkanie nauczyciela. Spłonął doszczętnie około 1930 roku. Na miejscu znaleźliśmy pozostałości porcelany.

Wróbliniec's (Wildbahn) old school (drawing after an old postcard). The old school was located on our land, close to the old well. The school building also housed the teacher's residence. It burned to the ground in about 1930. We have found remains of porcelain at the site.

Zamek należał do rodu von Mitschke - Collande i był częścią majątku Kollande, na który składały się Kollande (Kolendą) Bartnig (Bartniki) i Wildbahn (Wróbliniec) oraz kolonia Heidau. Został nabyty przez Johanna Leopolda Antona Mitschke (1779-1856) w 1835 roku i pozostawał w posiadaniu rodziny przez dokładnie 110 lat, aż do 1945 roku (de.wikipedia.org).
W 1937 r. łączna powierzchnia majątku wynosiła jeszcze 1350 ha, w tym dobra Kolęda – 252 ha, Bartniki – 783 ha, Wróbliniec – 297 ha. Po zakończeniu II wojny światowej dobra rodziny von Mitschke-Collande przeszły na własność państwa polskiego (palaceslanska.pl).
Niestety nie znaleźliśmy innych zdjęć dworu, który znajdował się na wschodnim krańcu wsi (obok Górale).

The manor house belonged to the family von Mitschke - Collande and was a part of the Kollande estate which consisted of Kollande (Kolendą) Bartnig (Bartniki) and Wildbahn (Wróbliniec) and the Heidau colony. It was acquired by Johann Leopold Anton Mitschke (1779-1856) in 1835 and remained in the family's possession for exactly 110 years until 1945. (de.wikipedia.org).
In 1937 the total area of the estate was still 1350ha, including the following estates: Kolęda - 252ha, Bartniki - 783ha, Wróbliniec - 297ha. After the end of World War II, the possessions of the von Mitschke-Collande family were taken over by the Polish state (palaceslanska.pl).
Unfortunately, we have not found any more photos of the manor house, which was located at the east end of the village (next to Górale).

The Church of the Ascension of Our Lord
Ten prosty kościół ewangelicki został zbudowany w 1912 roku na niewielkiej posesji, w pobliżu drogi. Budynek murowany, otynkowany. Dach dwuspadowy. Na narożu wieża zbudowana na planie kwadratu, nakryta hełmem z blachy. Po wojnie, w 1950 r. budynek przekazano miejscowej parafii katolickiej (tekst:commons.wikimedia.org).

This simple Evangelical church was built in 1912 on a small property, close to the road. The building is brick, plastered. Gable roof. On the corner, there is a tower built on a square plan, covered with a cupola made of sheet metal. After the war, in 1950, the building was handed over to the local Catholic parish (text:commons.wikimedia.org).

"Ten Dom Boży wyboudowany został w 1912 r. z mozolnie nabytych środków pewnej wdowy pobłogosławionej przez Boga. W czasach jej ziemskiej pielgrzymki możny było zawsze na nią zastosować 105 werset 119-go Psalmu: "Twoje słowo jest lampą dla moich stóp i światłem na mojej ścieżce". I kochała dom Boga i to miejsce, gdzie Jego chwała mieszka. Budowniczką była owdowiała Pani organiścina Auguste Sawade z domu Ebert, ur. w Züllichen w Marchii, 1.5.1803 r., zasnęła w Rothenburgu na Górnych Łużycach 6.5.1867 r."

There is a sandstone plaque on the front wall. We learn from it that the founder of the church was the widowed wife of the organist - Auguste Sawade née Ebert. In her life, she was guided by the words of Psalm 105: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
